I’d argue that plenty of women stockpile - if Jacqueline Onassis, Audrey Hepburn, or Charlotte Gainsbourg didn’t have well-defined and consistent styles, they’d never become style icons!  I am currently in possession of 3 identical (except for color) knit jersey shirts from the Gap that are beginning to lose their shape.  Each time I put them in the laundry I take my heart in my hands.

We maybe just are more willing to experiment with new iterations of that signature pair of loafers, blouse, whatever.  In search of perfection!
