Vacation planning is one of my chief pleasures in life - as someone who is both very detail-oriented AND appreciative of time off, there is nothing like setting up a Google spreadsheet with properties, amenities, and activities to get my anticipatory juices flowing.

One of my great friends from INSEAD, Sam, is getting married around Valentine’s Day next year … in Thailand!  Planning ahead, I’m already thinking of what else I can build around a potential vacation then - going that far, you kind of have to have an agenda!

I’ve never been to Vietnam, and I have always wanted to because I love the food, I’ve heard about beautiful cities to visit there… and because I know that in Hoi An, you can get amazing knockoffs of designer clothes/copies of clothes you already own.

So eight months from now, I may be packing a completely incongruous separate duffel on my trip to contain:

  • Steven Alan boyfriend shirts (bc the normal women’s fit does NOT work for me)
  • JF & Son silk blouse
  • Nicole Farhi pants that look so good, but are just a teensy bit too tight

Ahh, the prospect of the uniform finally coming together!  To the spreadsheet!
