Liz Claiborne for me is still the brand of clothing that seemed perpetually to be 30% off at the local Filene’s.  Now that the holding company’s been re-branded under the Fifth & Pacific, I can’t help but look back at the way things were!

While it is just the holding company, not a new retail brand, I hope it meets with more success than other generic, “Word & Word” launches in the retail space.  Forth and Towne?  Martin + Osa?
