I was feeling low-energy despite a delicious dinner with Lisa at Madangsui.  Stopped by the Herald Square Sephora to kill 5 minutes while I waited for Scott to get out of class.

I saw one woman actually getting Temptu-ed.  Wild!  I walked up the stairs and slathered my paws with Fresh Brown Sugar Body Cream.  I walked back down the stairs.  My laptop bag felt very heavy.

When, all of a sudden, this display of L’Eau Par Kenzo made me smile.  My 2nd year “honors” English class bought me a bottle of L’Eau Par Kenzo as a farewell gift before I left Korea.

What does L’Eau Par Kenzo smell like?  It’s pretty hard to describe.  I just searched it online and for some reason, someone’s description that it smells like “the fizziness of Coke without the caramel” sounds completely accurate.

I can say that I was surprised that my students would think their (by then) quite crabby and moody teacher would like something that is supposed to evoke “Simplicity, purity, and sincerity”.  Wishful thinking maybe.  It isn’t something I would’ve bought for myself, either.  I did wear it from time to time for a long while afterwards.  And love the design of the bottle, still.
